🆘 DO I NEED TO CONNECT MY NANOLEAF PRODUCT(S) TO SPECIFIC TECHNOLOGY?

Technically? No.
But where’s the fun in that? 🎉

Most Nanoleaf products can be used straight out of the box without an internet connection or pairing to a device. However, connecting our panel products for example, unlocks tons of features like:

• Custom scenes & animations (preloaded in our panel products' controllers)
• Scheduling & automation
• Voice control & remote access
• Syncing with music, screen mirroring & more!

So while you can use them offline, you’re missing out on the full Nanoleaf experience.

If you would like to access more features and control your products with the Nanoleaf App you will need to pair your device to a compatible mobile device/tablet.

You will require a connection to the internet if you wish to use Voice Control with a Smart Home Assistant, log in to your Nanoleaf Cloud Account in the Nanoleaf’s App Settings, download new Scenes or Playlists from the Discover Tab, or perform Firmware Updates.

You can also connect without the internet using Hotspot Mode.
