ℹ️ CAN DIFFERENT NANOLEAF PRODUCTS CONNECT TOGETHER?

You might be wondering if you can snap together your Nanoleaf Light Panels, Canvas, Shapes, Lines, or Elements into one big glowing masterpiece. While we love the creativity, the short answer is:

Not always! Nanoleaf products from different families are not physically compatible in some cases. That means you cannot connect different panel types together using linkers or power each other through the same controller.

Each Nanoleaf product line (like Light Panels, Canvas, Shapes, and Lines) has its own shape, size, connectors, and control system. That means even though they may look like they should work together, they are built differently and use different linkers and control logic.

For example:

• 'OG' Light Panels and Canvas use completely different linking systems and controller types. These two cannot be connect with each other, or any other product line.

• Shapes, Elements, and Lines are part of the modular series and cannot connect physically to older products like Light Panels or Canvas.

• Shapes and Elements can connect together, but the birch effect and white panels may looks a bit off, Black Shapes may look great together though! These use the same linkers so there is a possibility to mix and match (as well as mix and match Shapes)

• Lines uses specific connectors, so they are not compatible with other products.

• Blocks and Shapes can be physically connected together because they share the same type of rigid linkers.

⚠️ Nanoleaf Blocks & Shapes do not share the same type of flex linkers. You can only 
connect them together using rigid linkers.

Even if your desired products cannot physically connect, you can still control them as one group using the Nanoleaf App, so the good news is that you can control them together, giving that one layout illusion.

With Group Scenes, you can:

• Control different Nanoleaf products at the same time.

• Set the same (or different) effects across your devices.

• Power on/off everything together

• Sync your space with one tap

in the app to use Group Scenes seamlessly.
