In the App > Feature > Create, Edit, Delete or Upload Scenes – Nanoleaf Community & Knowledge Base

This article provides step-by-step instructions for creating, editing, deleting, uploading, and viewing Scenes using the Nanoleaf App. Applies to both iOS and Android users.

🆘HOW TO CREATE A SCENE

💡 TIP | Want a Scene to turn your lights off? Select a color and drag the brightness down to 0.

Step 1 • Open the Nanoleaf App.

Step 2 • Select the device you want to use.

Step 3 • Tap Scene > Tap + > Choose between Paint, Dynamic, AI Magic Scene and Playlist.

Step 4 • Choose your colors (up to 16 million—seriously!)

🪄 Add motion effects, set brightness, and you’re good to glow.

🆘HOW TO EDIT A SCENE

📶 Make sure you are connected to the same Wifi network as your lights to make changes

Step 1 • Tap the 3 vertical dots next to the Scene name.

Step 2 • Tap the pencil icon to edit.

🆘HOW TO DELETE A SCENE

📶 Same as editing: you will need to be on the same Wifi as your lights.

Step 1 • Tap the 3 vertical dots next to the Scene name.

Step 2 • Tap the trash can icon to delete.

🆘 UPLOADING SCENES TO DISCOVER

Step 1 • Tap the 3 vertical dots next to the Scene name.

Step 2 • Tap More Options > Upload to Discover.

🆘 VIEWING SCENES ON DISCOVER

Step 1 • Open the Nanoleaf App.

Step 2 • Select the device you want to use.

Step 3 • Scroll down to Discover, choose between Featured and Community

🪄 To search for (or discover) Scenes, tap the icon to the right of the Discover title (above Featured and Community) that looks like an upside-down triangle with 3 lines.
