🆘HOW-TO: SETTING UP YOUR APPLE TV AS A MAIN HOME HUB

Before You Start
• Ensure your Nanoleaf firmware is on the latest available version or the last noted firmware release if the product is discontinued.
• Ensure you Nanoleaf App is up to date.
• Ensure your Apple device(s) is/are up to date (you are reminded to do this in Step 1).
• Requires your own Apple compatible product (not supplied by Nanoleaf).

Ready to turn your Apple TV into the brain of your smart home? Follow these steps to set it up as your primary hub:
Step 1 • Update Your Apple TV. Make sure your Apple TV is running the latest tvOS version. Go to Settings > System > Software Update.
Step 2 • Open Settings on Your Apple TV - Navigate to Settings > Accounts > iCloud.
Step 3 • Enable the Home Hub Option. Turn on "Use this Apple TV as a Home Hub."
Step 4 • Sign In. Log in with your Apple ID credentials when prompted.
Step 5 • Enable HomeKit. Ensure "HomeKit" is enabled in the iCloud settings.
Step 6 • Sync with the Home App. Open the Home app on your iPhone and add your Apple TV.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
