🆘 USING THE MULTI-ADMIN FEATURE FOR MATTER DEVICES ON APPLE HOME

Applies to Nanoleaf Devices and Essentials Matter -Enabled Devices & Apple Home Users 

The cool thing about Matter is that it allows you to share smart home devices! Here’s how to share your light with another ecosystem:

Step 1 • Head to the Home tab and tap on the light you want to share.

Step 2 • Scroll down to the bottom of the control and settings screen.

Step 3 • Tap Turn On Pairing Mode.

Step 4 • A prompt will pop up: Accessory Ready to Connect.

Step 5 • Tap Copy Code ⨠ but be quick! You’ll need to complete the next steps within 15 minutes.

Step 6 • Open the app for the ecosystem you’re sharing with.

Start the process for adding a new device. If the device isn’t automatically detected, select Matter and paste the code from Apple Home into the manual pairing section.

💡 Heads Up: Make sure both ecosystems are ready to play nice. If things don’t connect right away, double-check compatibility and retry the process.
