Before You Start
• Ensure your Nanoleaf firmware is on the latest available version or the last noted firmware release if the product is discontinued
• Ensure you Nanoleaf App is up to date.
• Ensure your Apple device(s) is/are up to date.
• Requires your own Apple compatible product (not supplied by Nanoleaf).
• For Thread-enabled and/or Matter-enabled devices, a compatible Thread Border Router (TBR) or Matter Controller is required (not supplied by Nanoleaf).

Let’s ensure your preferred Home Hub is setup properly with these easy steps:
Step 1 • Open the Apple Home app.
Step 2 • Tap the … button at the top of your screen.
Step 3 • Select Home Settings.
Step 4 • Scroll down and tap Home Hubs & Bridges.
Step 5 • Toggle off Automatic Selection.
Step 6 • Tap on your preferred Home Hub to lock it in.

💡 Pro Tip | It might take a moment (or two) for your Home Hub to show as active. During this time, your devices could be a little sleepy—don’t worry, they’ll wake up soon.
Once everything’s sorted, the Home app will stick with your chosen hub—even after a network reboot or power outage. Smooth sailing from here!
