GETTING STARTED WITH THE ROPE LIGHT: IMPORTANT INSTALLATION TIPS 

Congrats on your new Nanoleafs!

Before You Start

Important tips when it comes to installation:

1 - Make sure to test your rope light by connecting it to the power supply before starting installation.

2 - 🫧 Clean your surface to be free of dust, moisture and oil.

‼️The included Mounting Tape is NOT recommended for textured, porous surfaces (ie. wallpaper or brick walls), popcorn walls /ceilings, and mirrors as it helps with temporary positioning, but it cannot securely adhere to rough surfaces and should not be relied on for long-term support, so it needs to supported with the mounting clips provided.

3 - Most products should only be installed indoors unless otherwise specified and on a flat surface that can support the weight of the product. The Rope Light is intended for indoor use only.

4 - Plan your layout before mounting the rope onto the wall. 

You can also use the Layout Assistant on the Nanoleaf app to build your layout before you set it up on the wall.

🧰 INSTALLATION

• To install the Rope Light, use the adhesive to assist with positioning your design.

• Then, screw the Rope Light with the included mounting clips and screws. These must be used to properly secure the mounting clips.

As a reminder, the adhesive on the Rope Light is only for temporary positioning during setup and will not support the Rope Light on its own over time.
