🆘EXTENDING LINES WITH ADDITIONAL POWER SUPPLIES
Applies to Nanoleaf Lines Smarter Kits and Expansion Packs
Each Nanoleaf Lines Power Supply included in a Smarter Kit supports up to 18 Light Lines.
If you plan to build a larger layout, you’ll need an additional power supply to maintain proper performance.
💡The simplest way to do this is by using the Power Supply and Processor from a second Nanoleaf Lines Smarter Kit.
— — —
Before You Start
• Make sure both Lines Processors are on firmware version 6.2.1 or higher.
• Open the Nanoleaf App.
• Tap on each Lines device and check the firmware version under Device Settings. If needed, update to the latest version before proceeding.

Connect the Second Power Supply
• Add the second Power Connector and Processor into your existing Lines layout.
• Once connected, the new Processor will enter passive mode automatically. The original Processor will continue to act as the primary controller.
Adding More Power Supplies
If your layout exceeds the capacity of two power supplies, you can repeat the above steps:
• Add another Processor and Power Supply into the layout.
• The system will automatically manage power distribution and controller hierarchy.
IMPORTANT | Ensure firmware is up to date before adding.
