✨GETTING STARTED WITH 4D: IMPORTANT INSTALLATION TIPS
Congrats on your new Nanoleaf 4D!
BEFORE YOU START
🫧Preparing Your Surface: Make sure the back of your TV or monitor screen is free of dust, moisture, and oil before attaching the lightstrip or corner brackets. (Brackets are available in the V1 version only).
PLACEMENT TIP! 💡Use painter’s tape to map out the lightstrip layout on the back of your TV! Place it just below where the strip will go. Once you’re happy with the positioning, peel the adhesive backing and apply the strip directly above the tape. This prevents you from sticking, peeling, and re-sticking the strip, saving the adhesive (and your patience).

Additional Tips
• Corner brackets are optional! These can be attached using the provided tape. Place them on the back corners of your screen, at least 2" from the edge, to help the Lightstrips bend smoothly around corners.
• Cutting the Lightstrip: If your Lightstrip needs to be trimmed to fit your screen, start setup from the end connected to the power cable. Carefully cut the excess from the loose end, avoiding the LED sections.
| ✂️ Once cut, the strip cannot be reconnected, so make sure your layout is final before trimming. |
• Camera Placement: Place the camera either at the top center of your screen using the included mount or on a surface below the screen without the mount.
If placing it below, use the built-in stand to adjust the angle, and secure it with the provided tape to avoid movement... any shift in position can affect the screen mirroring experience.
• Controller: Connect the camera (USB-C) to the Controller, then plug the Controller into power. The LED lights on the Controller will blink once powered on.
Make sure you hear a slight ‘click’ when connecting the USB. This ensures it’s correctly inserted.

TIPS | 4D Calibration
Whether you are calibrating for the first time or need to recalibrating, here are some pro tips to get it just right:
• Set the mood: Close your curtains or dim the lights. Ambient light can throw off the calibration.
• Top-mounted camera? Tilt it down a bit so it sees the whole screen. No blind spots allowed!
• TV on, please: Keep your screen on during calibration. The contrast helps the camera find the corners more accurately.
• Tweak the points: When placing calibration dots, pull them slightly inward—closer together and away from the very edges. It leaves less room for error and more room for awesome

Hey, so I got a smart nano leaf led lights and i wanted to set up the screen mirroring but the thing is i didnt get a camera so how do i do the screen mirroring so that the background displays the light of color thats at that edge on my screen. because Without the camera i think i can only use the ones that find the most seen color and displays that but I would like the one that can allow the different colors on my screen to show up on the lights. So is there a way to get that with the one i have?
