This article will guide you with replacing your Controller, Processor, Controller Panel or Square to ensure a smooth transition to your new one. These steps should be precisely followed to ensure you're on the illuminating path to enjoy your Nanoleafs once again!

Whether you're pairing for the first time or trying again after a failed attempt, we strongly recommend pairing in the Nanoleaf App FIRST before proceed with any 3rd party integration. If you have already attempted to pair, and pairing failed, please reset your device.
✅Step 1: Remove the Old Device (App + Hardware)
From the Nanoleaf App:
• Open the Nanoleaf App.
• Go to ... More > My Devices
• Tap the three dots (•••) next to the device you're replacing.
• Select Delete to remove it from your account and integrations.
From Your Setup:
• Gently unplug or detach the old Controller, Processor, or Panel/Square from your layout.

✅Step 2: Get Ready for Setup
Make sure everything's ready for a smooth pairing experience:
App Requirements: Ensure you're using the latest version of the Nanoleaf App.
Network Requirements: A 2.4 GHz network is required (Nanoleaf products don’t work on 5GHz). 📲 Your mobile device must also be on 2.4 GHz during setup and Bluetooth must be turned ON.
Pairing Code: Find your QR code or 8-digit code on your Quick Start Guide or the back of your device.

✅ Step 3: Connect the New Part
• Plug the new Controller, Processor, or Panel/Square into your setup.
• You should see the LEDs scrolling across the unit.
• Once the scrolling stops and a scene plays, your device is ready to pair.
⚠️ Not seeing the solid LED?
Reset the device:
• For most Controllers: Hold the Power + ‘+’ button together until LEDs scroll again.
• For Lines: Use a pin to press the reset button near the PSU.

• Open the Nanoleaf App.
• Go to ... More > My Devices
• Tap the + symbol and follow the on-screen pairing steps.
