You can customize which alerts you receive from the Nanoleaf App, whether it's firmware updates, new features, or promotional updates.
🆘 MANAGING APP NOTIFICATIONS
You can manage your Nanoleaf App notifications right from within the app! Here’s how to customize what you receive (or turn everything off if you prefer a quieter setup):
• Open the Nanoleaf App.
• Tap the More button (⋯) in the bottom-right corner.
• Select Notifications.
You’ll see several options:
• Notifications (Master toggle: Turn this off to disable all in-app notifications)
• Firmware Updates
• Product Features
• Sales and Promotions
• Scenes and Motions
• Toggle each option on or off depending on what you prefer.
Toggle each option on or off based on what works best for you. This lets you fine-tune the alerts you want to see, OR turn everything off if you’d rather keep things peaceful.

For iPhone (iOS) 🍏
• Open the Settings app.
• Go to Notifications.
• Scroll down and select Nanoleaf.
• Make sure Allow Notifications is turned on (or off, if you prefer).
If enabled/on, choose how you’d like alerts to appear:
• Lock Screen
• Notification Centre
• Banners
Optional > > > Adjust Sounds and Badges if you want more (or fewer) alerts.
If notifications are disabled at the phone level, the Nanoleaf App won’t be able to send any, even if everything is enabled inside the app.

For Android Devices 🤖
• Open the Settings app.
• Tap Apps (or Apps & Notifications).
• Find and select Nanoleaf.
• Choose Notifications.
• Make sure notifications are allowed/enabled (or disabled, if you've already turned them off)
If allowed/enabled, you may also see individual categories you can toggle on/off, similar to:
• App updates
• Promotions
• Recommendations
• General alerts
Some Android devices also have “Do Not Disturb” modes or battery-saving settings that can delay or block notifications, so double-check those if anything seems off.
| ⚠️Please ensure you are on the latest version of the app. |
