RETURN FEES
Our return fee may cover the costs associated with processing the return, including but not limited to, restocking, diminished value (i.e. repackaging, inspecting the returned goods), more specifically, it is for handling any reverse logistics operations (i.e. shipping costs). The return fee replaces the previously noted flat rate restocking fee.

• A return fee of 10% of the item's purchase price applies to all returned orders.

• Oversized/heavy items* (over 15 lbs / 6.8 kg) may incur additional surcharges, disclosed during RMA authorization.

Exceptions

• Items returned due to defect or Nanoleaf’s error are exempt from return fees.

• Defective items may require troubleshooting or photo/video confirmation before approval.

• Items under 14.99 lbs (6.8 kg) are exempt from surcharges*.

• Items purchased from other retailers must be returned through the original place of purchase. Nanoleaf cannot accept returns for items purchased from other retailers and will not provide refunds for purchases made from other retailers.

Nanoleaf’s return practices are aligned with applicable consumer protection, e-commerce, and distance-selling laws in the regions where we operate.

Our return fee helps cover reverse-logistics costs, in particular shipping costs. This fee is applied only where legally permitted, and always in line with regional consumer-protection laws.

UK customers: Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations (see page 15, Section F, Item #4), customers may be required to pay the cost of returning goods when cancelling an order, provided this was communicated in advance. These details are included within this article and our policy here.
