The article provides reset instructions for various Nanoleaf lightstrip or string light products. Try to power cycle prior to resetting. A reset is typically required if pairing fails, the device becomes unresponsive, shows incorrect behavior, or you’re switching networks or controllers. Resetting clears any previous configurations and reopens the pairing window so you can start fresh. Nanoleaf Wifi devices can only be pair to one network at a time.
Applies to Nanoleaf Matter & Smart 'Non-Matter' Lightstrips/String Lights (Wifi-enabled, Matter over Thread, Matter over Wifi, HomeKi/Thread-enabled) including Seasonal, Rope Light & Floor Lamp
Special instructions Solar Garden Lights are noted below.
⚠️ A factory reset erases your pairing and network info. You’ll need to set the device up again afterward.
