ℹ️ WHAT DO THE BUTTONS ON CONTROLLERS DO?

Button Controls for Nanoleaf Devices

While the Nanoleaf App is the best way to control your lights, many of our devices include built-in buttons on the controller for quick access.

For those that do, below is a guide to what each button does, based on your product type.

Indoor Products: Shapes, Lines, Elements, Blocks, EXPO, Canvas

There are five (5) buttons that allow you to perform various actions by just pressing or holding it:

Power Button

• Turn the device ON or OFF

Brightness ➕

• Increase brightness by 10%

Brightness ➖

• Decrease brightness by 10%

Scene >

• Switch to the next color scene

Rhythm 🎵

• Switch to the next rhythm scene

Nanoleaf 4D

The Nanoleaf 4D controller features four (4) control buttons:

Power Button

• Turn the device ON or OFF

Scene >

• Switch to the next color scene

Rhythm 🎵

• Switch to the next rhythm scene

4D Modes ▶️

• Cycle through the available 4D Modes

Matter over Wifi Products: Multicolor HD Lightstrip, Multicolor Lightstrip, Secretlab Lightstrip via USB-C

These products feature five (5) control buttons, including a quick color selection feature:

Power Button

• Turn the device ON or OFF

• Increase brightness by 10%

Double Press Scene >

• Quickly cycle through preset solid colors: warm white, cool white, orange, magenta, blue, green, and yellow
