Smart Lighting Pioneer Nanoleaf Launches Shapes – Hexagons, The First Ever Modular Smart Light with Shape Interconnectivity

Smart lighting pioneer Nanoleaf announces the company’s latest innovation, Shapes Hexagons. The Hexagons are the first panels to be launched in the company’s Nanoleaf Shapes Line – the first-ever modular smart light with shape interconnectivity. With Connect+ technology that enables shape compatibility (Hexagons will work with future products within the Shapes Line*), touch reactivity, and infinite color customizations, users will have ultimate design freedom to create everything from abstract geometric layouts to true lighting mosaics.

With their low profile, subtly rounded corners, and the thinnest panel edge Nanoleaf has ever created, the six-sided Hexagons allow users to create personalized lighting designs that naturally fit into the home, challenging the harsh lines and sterile styles set by today’s technology standards.

With more than 16 million colors to choose from, and Nanoleaf’s exclusive LayoutDetect™ Technology, users can look forward to smooth color transitions in real time that enhance the ambience of any space—even changing in harmony with music or on-screen entertainment.

Hexagons will still be equipped with all the features users know and love, including Screen Mirror capabilities, Rhythm Music Sync, and touch-enabled experiences that allow you to control your lighting simply with the palm of your hand. The panels are WiFi-controlled with the Nanoleaf App and are also compatible with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, and Samsung SmartThings.

*Hexagons are not compatible with Nanoleaf Canvas or Light Panels.
