Nanoleaf Launches Latest Addition to Interconnected Shapes Line With Full-Sized Triangles & Mini Triangles
The Latest in the Smart Lighting Pioneers’ Shapes Line Also Connects with Hexagons
Toronto – October 15, 2020 – Smart lighting industry leader Nanoleaf announces the launch of Shapes Triangles and Mini Triangles, the latest addition to the company’s highly successful Shapes Line. The newest innovation from Nanoleaf features shape interoperability with Nanoleaf’s exclusive Connect+ technology, allowing users to connect different lighting shapes together—including Hexagons—for the first time ever.
Nanoleaf’s suite of products has effortlessly blended the possibilities of smart lighting and design, enabling users to explore different styles, linear layouts, and abstract designs. With the Shapes Line, users can truly push the limits of their creativity by connecting multiples of one shape, or mixing and matching different shapes together in new ways to form unique lighting mosaics.
“Nanoleaf’s vision for the Shapes Line is to give users the complete design freedom to create their most personal lighting experience yet. Smart lighting is about pushing the boundaries of possibility and that is exactly what we wanted to offer with our Shapes Line,” says Gimmy Chu, CEO and Co-Founder of Nanoleaf. “With the addition of Triangles and Mini Triangles, we’re allowing users to explore and combine lighting shapes like never before. Bringing together smart technology and thoughtful design, the Shapes Line leads the Smart Décor category for a lighting experience that truly has no limits.”
Shapes Triangles help users intensify the level of illumination while offering a more subtle touch of technology in the space, with slightly rounded and smaller corners that were re-engineered to extend the limits of Nanoleaf’s designs. With Mini Triangles, users can maximize their space and make better use of smaller areas. Whether making the most of a small room, designing a child’s bedroom, or getting creative with desk-side décor, Mini Triangles elevate the smart lighting experience.
The Shapes Line also includes an improved snap-on mounting system for easier installation and redesign, as well as staggered linker placements with two linker slots on each side of the Triangles. With Nanoleaf’s exclusive LayoutDetect™ Technology and over 16 million colors to choose from, users can paint their homes with organic colorways inspired by natural scenes like the Aurora Borealis or the brilliant blues of the Mediterranean Sea.
Shapes Triangles and Mini Triangles include all of Nanoleaf’s classic features, such as Screen Mirror, Rhythm Music Sync, and touch-enabled experiences that let you transform your space with a single touch. The panels are WiFi-controlled with the Nanoleaf App, manually with the physical Controller, and are also compatible with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit, and Samsung SmartThings.
True to Nanoleaf’s commitment to ease of use, this addition to the Shapes Line also includes an update to Nanoleaf’s signature app. A new color picker helps take the RGB experience to the next level with a larger, more intuitive interface, offering access to a wider range of colors and added palette ratios for fine-tuned color selection. The redesigned dashboard provides easier access to all products while simplifying the interface, giving favorite features the spotlight.
Expanding on its fan-favorite line of smart lighting panels, Nanoleaf will also soon introduce Essentials, the company’s first line featuring smart bulbs and lightstrips, designed to provide users with an even more seamless introduction to smart lighting. The bulb’s unique multi-faceted design pairs with the purest color performance to create stunning illumination, while the high-brightness lightstrip offers endless colors to instantly take your space from work mode to game night fun. Both are customizable and controllable through the Nanoleaf App, Controller, or voice commands. Essentials is also the first consumer smart lighting line to work with Thread, providing improved reliability, a wider control range, and eliminating dropped connections.
