ℹ️WHAT IS A MATTER CONTROLLER?

• A Matter controller is essential for integrating Matter devices into your smart home.

• It is also known as a Matter Hub or Ecosystem Hub.

• It acts as the central orchestrator for your smart home setup.

• With a Matter Controller, you can enable advanced features like Voice Control and Remote Access.

Major smart home platforms have updated their existing hubs and smart speakers to function as Matter controllers. Some of these controllers also serve as Thread border routers, which are necessary if you plan to use Thread-enabled devices, such as our Thread and Matter-enabled Essentials products.
