💡Different wavelengths (measured in nm) create different colors of light and also determine how deeply that light can penetrate the skin or tissue. “nm” stands for nanometer, a unit used to measure the wavelength of light. In light therapy, it’s used to measure the wavelength of light... basically, how long each wave of light is.

Near Infrared Light (NIR) is a type of light (commonly 850nm) that sits just beyond the visible spectrum that can penetrate deeper into the skin than visible light. Unlike visible light, NIR penetrates much deeper into the skin and tissue, supporting cellular energy production, circulation, healing, and recovery.
If you want the technical version… NIR is a form of electromagnetic radiation absorbed at specific wavelengths due to molecular vibrations triggered by energy transitions*.
But we think our simple explanation works better.
In our devices:
LED Therapy Face Mask
SKU: NLEDK00-1TFM
• Combines each light mode with NIR to stimulate cellular energy production and improve blood circulation in deeper layers of the skin, delivering more effective treatments and visible results. Each light mode is paired with 850nm NIR to reach deeper layers of the skin.
Red Light Therapy Panel
SKU: NLRLTPK0801A203
• Penetrates beneath the skin’s surface to accelerate healing, ease joint pain, and reduce muscle fatigue and inflammation.
6-in-1 Light Therapy Wand
SKU: NLLTWDK0001A223
• Works below the skin’s surface to promote deeper healing and recovery.
