What It Does
The Gentle Sleep & Wake feature lets your Nanoleaf Essentials Bulbs and Lightstrips gradually dim or brighten over 30 minutes—perfect for winding down or starting your day naturally.
• Gentle Sleep: Sets your lights to a warm white, then slowly dims them over 30 minutes 🕒
• Gentle Wake: Gradually brightens your lights to mimic a sunrise ☀️

Start Gentle Sleep or Wake with Voice Commands
To control all smart lights in a room
Say (If you're in the same room as the lights):
“Ok Google, sleep my lights”
“Ok Google, wake my lights”
Or Say (If you're in a different room):
“Ok Google, sleep the lights in [room name]”
“Ok Google, wake the lights in [room name]”

To control one specific light
Say:
“Ok Google, sleep [light name]”
“Ok Google, wake [light name]”

To Schedule Gentle Sleep or Wake
💡NOTE | You can say this command up to 24 hours before you want Gentle Sleep or Wake to start.
Say (If you're in the same room as the lights):
“Ok Google, wake my lights at 6 AM”
“Ok Google, sleep my lights at 10 PM”
Or Say (If you're in a different room):
“Ok Google, wake the lights in [room name] at 7 AM”
“Ok Google, sleep the lights in [room name] at 9 PM”

To Sync Gentle Wake with an Alarm
Say (If you're in the same room as the lights):
“Ok Google, turn on Gentle Wake Up”
Or Say (If you're in a different room):
“Ok Google, turn on Gentle Wake Up in [room name]”
🔔You only need to do this once. After it’s turned on, any morning alarm you set on that device will automatically
trigger a Gentle Wake for lights in the same room.
