For those of us building more complex integrations

Absolutely - I couldnt agree more. I often find that taking a short break, stepping away from the code, and clearing my head makes the solution come much more naturally afterwards.

Im currently dealing with a specific issue on my Nanoleaf 4D v2: the LEDs freeze when one particular Rhythm scene is running. To get to the bottom of it, I built a pretty extensive "4D Precision Monitoring Suite". After a lot of coding, debugging, extending, and analysing, I was able to implement a live-script workaround that prevents the freezes. I can now keep that Rhythm scene running continuously without issues.

I’ve also been working a lot with Homebridge v2. For example, I wrote my own plugin for my Twinkly Candles, which do not natively support Apple Home. They are now fully integrated into Apple Home, including proper scene switching and control - essentially 100% Apple Home support.

And since discovering Nanoleaf, my own "Nanoverse" keeps growing. That motivated me to start building an all-in-one Nanoleaf plugin for Homebridge v2. It is already looking really promising, with automatic device discovery and registration in Homebridge, plus an option to add devices manually through the plugin settings.

The goal is to support the full Nanoleaf feature set: static and dynamic scene control, 4D Screen Mirror controls, circadian and Adaptive Lighting, and much more.

Since these capabilities are not provided directly by Nanoleaf, I have to build my own plugins and forensic investigation tools. That lets me close integration gaps and investigate issues such as the 4D freezes with actual telemetry rather than simply waiting for an official fix. Nanoleafs OpenAPI supports programmatic local-network device control, but deeper diagnostics and more advanced integrations still require custom work.

Unfortunately, I cant post screenshots here.
