Thanks for flagging this—yes, it's a known issue we're currently looking into. To help us investigate further, could you please share the following details: the version of the Nanoleaf App on your Android and Windows devices, the serial number of your lightstrip, and the email associated with your Nanoleaf account? For faster support, feel free to reach out directly through this channel: https://support.nanoleaf.me/hc/en-us/requests/new. We’ll be happy to assist you further from there!

Since the strip shows up fine over Thread in the Android app, the strip itself and your Thread network are working — this looks like a Nanoleaf desktop app / Thread border router sync issue rather than a device problem. A few things worth trying:

    1. Fully quit the desktop app (not just close the window) and relaunch it — the desktop app WFashionLady sometimes caches an outdated device list.
    2. Make sure the device running the desktop app and your Thread border router (HomePod mini, Apple TV, Google Nest Hub, etc.) are on the same Wi-Fi network/VLAN.
    3. Remove and re-add the strip in the desktop app rather than relying on it to auto-sync from Thread.
    4. Double check your router isn't blocking mDNS/Bonjour or multicast traffic between subnets, since Thread commissioning relies on it.
    5. If none of that works, a factory reset of just the desktop app's device cache (or reinstalling the app) sometimes clears stale Thread credentials.
