🆘 PAIRING WITH DESKTOP WHEN DEVICE ALREADY ON NETWORK
✅ Minimum technical requirements: Windows 10 or macOS 12
✅ Essentials products required a Thread Border Router to use with the Desktop App.
Step 1 • Download the Desktop App
• First, download the app for your computer by selecting the version for your operating system here: Nanoleaf Desktop App.
• Make sure your Nanoleafs are turned ON.
Step 2 • Check Network Connection
• If your Nanoleafs are no longer on the network, follow the instructions to re-pair your device to your app.
• If your device is already paired, make sure your computer or laptop is connected to the same Wifi network as the device.
Step 3 • Add Device
• Navigate to 'Settings' by click the gear icon ⚙️ in the bottom-left corner of the screen.
• Tap the green plus (+) button in the bottom-right corner, then select 'Add Devices' from the dropdown menu.
💡Your computer must be connected to a 2.4GHz Wifi network. To make your device discoverable, press and hold the Power button on your Nanoleaf device for 5 seconds. |
Step 4 • Select Your Device
• Once the Nanoleaf device appears on the screen, click to select it. Once selected, follow the prompt. Finish your setup by assigning your Nanoleaf to a room (optional), or simply leave it unassigned if you prefer.
