When setting up your Nanoleaf Matter-enabled device, there is a limited-time pairing window that allows it to connect to your smart home ecosystem (like Apple Home, Google Home, or SmartThings).
If the pairing window has closed and the device is not showing up during setup, there is a simple way to fix this, so do not reset it just yet!
✅ What to do instead: POWER CYCLE
To reopen the pairing window, simply power cycle the device:
• Unplug it from power (or switch it off at the outlet)
• Wait about 10 seconds
• Plug it back in
This reinitiates the Matter pairing window, allowing you to try setup again, without losing your existing configuration.
