If your Pegboard Desk Dock is not working as expected, do not worry, we have outlined the most common issues and how to fix them below.

🆘 NOT POWERING ON

⚠️ SYMPTOMS 

✅ Dock does not light up or respond when plugged in.
✅ Pressing the button has no effect.

⚙️TRY THIS:

• Make sure the Dock is correctly plugged into a USB-C port on your PC or Mac.

• Try a different USB-C port, especially if your device has both front and rear ports.

• Restart your computer to refresh device connections.

• If using external power, make sure the PD port is receiving enough power.

• Press the button again after reconnecting the device.

🆘 NOT DETECTED IN THE NANOLEAF APP

⚠️ SYMPTOMS 

✅ Dock is plugged in, but the Nanoleaf Desktop App does not show the device.

⚙️TRY THIS:

• Unplug the Dock and plug it back in securely.

• If using a front-panel USB port on a desktop computer, try switching to a rear-panel USB port for better compatibility.

• Open your system’s device settings to confirm the Dock is recognized.

• If a security popup appears asking for permission to connect a new device, make sure to approve it.

🆘 USB HUB NOT WORKING

⚠️ SYMPTOMS 

✅ Connected USB devices (like a mouse or keyboard) are not responding when plugged into the Dock.

⚙️TRY THIS:

• Check if your PC is supplying enough power to the Dock.

• If you are using multiple peripherals, try connecting external power through the PD port to ensure stable performance

🆘 COLORS OR SCENES NOT CHANGING

⚠️ SYMPTOMS 

✅ The lighting remains stuck on one scene or color.

✅ Dock does not respond to changes from the app.

⚙️TRY THIS:

• Make sure the Nanoleaf Desktop App is running in the background.

• Press the physical button on the Dock to change scenes manually.

• Restart both the Nanoleaf App and the Pegboard Desk Dock to refresh the connection.
