🔋Battery Ready: If this is your first time setting it up, remove the plastic tab/guard from the battery compartment
and make sure the battery is actually in there!
Before You Get Started:
⭐Bluetooth needs to be turned on for pairing to work.
⭐Latest version of the Nanoleaf App: Make sure you're using the latest version from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

Let’s get your Sense+ Smart Wireless Switch up and running!
Step 1 • Open the Nanoleaf App on your phone or tablet.
Step 2 • On the Dashboard, tap the 3 dots (top-right corner).
Step 3 • Tap Add Device.
Follow the on-screen steps to complete pairing.
💡Your 11-digit pairing code is found on your Quick Start Guide, or on the back of your Switch.
You can also scan the QR code.
NEXT ⨠ Once you’ve paired your Sense+ Switch in the Nanoleaf App, there’s one more important step: create or join a Control Group. This is what connects your switch to your lights and makes everything work together.
Follow the setup process in the Nanoleaf App to create or join an existing control Group. This is required to connect your Nanoleaf lights to your Sense+ Switch.

Troubleshooting Tips ⚙️
If pairing is not working, try this:
🔋 Check that the battery is inserted correctly and touching the metal contacts.
📶 Make sure Bluetooth is turned on.
🔄 Still stuck? Try resetting the device, then pair again.

⚠️The Sense+ Smart Wireless Switch works with most Nanoleaf Smart Lights*. You can also connect certain non-Nanoleaf devices to the Switch through Matter Early Access, depending on the device's compatibility with Matter and your smart home system. Support for Nanoleaf 4D is coming soon.
* Does not work with the Original Nanoleaf Light Panels, Nanoleaf Canvas, and Smarter Partner products.
