Error Code 08: User Took Too Long To Select Nanoleaf Device
This error code occurs during the pairing process when a user takes too long to select the Nanoleaf device during the network selection step and the hotspot may time out during pairing.

🔧How-To
Option 1 • Power Cycle the Device
• Unplug your Nanoleaf device from the power source.
• Wait for 10-15 seconds.
• Plug it back in and power it on.
If this step does not work, try Option 2.
⚠️Important note: If the device is in the Nanoleaf App or a third-party ecosystem (like Google Home or Amazon Alexa),
you will need to delete it from those app(s).
Option 2 • Try a Soft Reset on the Device
Depending on your device, follow the steps below for a soft reset:
For products such as our wall panel products, press and hold the power button and "+" button on your Nanoleaf devices controller for 10 seconds.
For our indoor essentials, i.e. light strips and outdoor essentials, hold the power button for 10 seconds until the device indicates it has restarted by flashing red.
For light bulbs, turn off, wait for 3 seconds, and turn back on for no more than 3 seconds. Repeat for a total of 5 power cycles. The bulb will flash red three times if successful.
Once the device has restarted, try the network selection process again and select the device promptly after selecting the Network. These steps should help you reconnect successfully.
